March 29, 2012 [Berkeley, CA] -- The Operational Review of the November 9th protest has recently been completed and has been sent to the Vice Chancellor of Administration. It was provided to the Berkeley Campus Police Review Board (PRB) and a version, from which sensitive information has been expunged (i.e. a redacted version), has been posted on the PRB website. --- Click to Read News Release

Night Safety Shuttle Service Vehicles UCPD/BearWALK
One UCPD operated Night Safety vehicle has been replaced by a temporary van. Vans will be clearly marked as official UCPD/BearWALK vehicles. The regular van is expected to be operational by the end of March.
For the next few months, Night Safety Shuttle Service will be provided by Parking and Transportation drivers using the vans pictured at right. For more information, see pt.berkeley.edu or pt.berkeley.edu/around/transit/transitalert.

BearWALK
UCPD offers its walking escort 365 nights per year until 5:45 AM. Uniformed UCPD student employees will meet you at your PICK-UP point to walk you to your destination within service boundaries. At the dispatcher's discretion, a marked campus vehicle may be used by BearWALK to handle several requests going to and from similar locations.

In an emergency, an imminent threat to life or property, dial the dedicated emergency line. You may also contact us when you are concerned at 510/642-6760 24-hours a day. WarnMe Emergency Alerts
The campus will keep the Campus Community informed in the event of an emergency. An alert will be sent to everyone with a CalNet account. Add or change ways we should contact you by logging in at warnme.berkeley.edu. Messages will be sent only in case of major campus emergency or urgent situation. All contact info remains private.
